Thank you!
As we wrap up another incredible summer with the New Mark Stingrays, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
This season was filled with early mornings, exciting races, personal bests, friendships, laughter, and so many memories that our swimmers and families will carry with them for years to come. None of it would have been possible without the dedication of our amazing coaches, board members, volunteers, officials, and every family who gave their time and energy to make this season a success. Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and helping create such a special experience for our kids.
One of the things I'm most proud of is the culture we've continued to build together—a team that values encouragement, sportsmanship, and having fun while competing. Watching our swimmers support one another, welcome new families, and represent New Mark with class has been incredibly rewarding. Watching our swimmers at Conference earlier in the week was one of the highlights of not only this year, but every year I've been a part of this team!
While the season is still fresh on your minds, we are providing each family the opportunity to give your feedback on the season. Click here for an end-of-season survey.
After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to step down as President of the New Mark Stingrays. After 14 years of having swimmers on the team, and serving in multiple roles, I think my time with the team has come to an end. Don't worry...Coach Hannah is staying!
This team has meant so much to me and my family. Serving in this role has truly been an honor, and I am incredibly grateful for the trust you've placed in me. While it's time for me to pass the baton to new leadership, I know this team will continue to thrive as it has for so many years.
Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of something so fun! I will forever be grateful for the friendships, memories, and experiences this team has given my family.
Have a wonderful rest of your summer, and as always...
Go Stingrays! 💙
~Kayla
